Finding Speeches

Finding Speeches

Finding speeches can be difficult and time-consuming. Here are a few strategies to help you find them using library and web resources.

  • First, determine if you are looking for a specific speech or any speech on a particular topic or subject matter.
  • Then, write down any and all information you know about the speech or topic. This can include the speaker, event, date, topic, etc.
  • Finally, ask yourself about the format. Is this speech from a movie? A political event? Do you want the audio of the speech or just the written text?

Once you have this information, begin your research using the resources listed below.
