This guide was created to provide resources for students within the Texas MSBA - Master of Science in Business Analytics. These resources will provide insight into the types of occupations students may explore upon graduation.The "Employment & Salary Estimates" are provided by the Occupational Information Network (O*NET) which is being developed under the sponsorship of the US Department of Labor/Employment and Training Administration (USDOL/ETA) through a grant to the North Carolina Department of Commerce which operates the National Center for O*NET Development.

The Career Development team has a consistently excellent record for assisting employment-seeking students. Career Development can assist you in choosing a career and guide you through the recruitment process. We're also available to assist you through resume and cover letter development, job search strategies, interview preparation, and more.

Researching your career options

The O*NET program is the nation's primary source of occupational information. Central to the project is the O*NET database, containing information on hundreds of standardized and occupation-specific descriptors.

The Occupational Outlook Handbook is a nationally recognized source of career information, designed to provide valuable assistance to individuals making decisions about their future work lives. The Handbook is revised every two years.

You must create an account using your UT issued email address (utexas.edu).
