Home

This guide was created to provide resources for students within the Texas MSM - Master of Science in Marketing program. These resources will provide insight into the types of occupations students may explore upon graduation. The "Employment & Salary Estimates" are provided by the Occupational Information Network (O*NET) which is being developed under the sponsorship of the US Department of Labor/Employment and Training Administration (USDOL/ETA) through a grant to the North Carolina Department of Commerce which operates the National Center for O*NET Development.

Researching your career options

The O*NET program is the nation's primary source of occupational information. Central to the project is the O*NET database, containing information on hundreds of standardized and occupation-specific descriptors.

The Occupational Outlook Handbook is a nationally recognized source of career information, designed to provide valuable assistance to individuals making decisions about their future work lives. The Handbook is revised every two years.
