Alternative Access to Articles - What Happens After the Big Deal Breaks?
When: Tuesday, Dec. 10th, 12:00-1:00pm
Where: PCL Learning Lab 4

Anneliese Taylor, Head of Scholarly Communications at the University of California San Francisco, will be joining us via Zoom to discuss specifics of the alternative access program at UC. UC did not renew their Elsevier contract this year and librarians have been working with faculty and students to make sure they continue to have access to the content they need. As Big Deals become ever more expensive and campuses continue to look for ways to reduce expenditures, knowledge about alternative access in practice will be critical.
