- Your pop up blocker must either be set to allow pop ups from ARTstor or turned off in order to view larger images and QTVR files.
- When you create an account make sure you enter ARTstor through the UT Libraries website.
- Browsing by Geography can be tricky. Sometimes Geography is tied to artist/architect/museum and not necessarily the place of creation.
- Keyword searches will seek the word anywhere in the metadata about the image.
- If you search for just Pantheon (and are looking for the one in Rome), you will return many results that may not make sense at first. Try it! See what happens.
- Trouble locating a specific resource? Be careful of spelling, alternative names, punctuation, or the primary language of the cataloguer.
- The Medici Chapel or New Sacristy of San Lorenzo may also be identified as Sagrestia Nuova, Cappelle medicee, Basilica di San Lorenzo.
- If you do not include the apostrophe in Old St. Peter's, you will not return any results for the Early Christian church.
