Articles and Journals

Find Articles & Journals

Here is a list of recommended petroleum engineering databases, if you need assistance please contact the engineering librarians.

Multidisciplinary databases

Technical reports can be extremely important sources of information, for more help with locating technical reports, please use the tab on the left hand side of this guide.

If you don't see a PDF or HTML link, connecting you to the full article, click the button to see if the article is available in another database or in print in one of the UT Libraries.

If it's only available in print, you can get it from the shelves or click the  button and a library staff member will scan and email you the article (this could take a day or two).

Still can't find what you need?

  1. Email the engineering librarians
  2. Chat with a Librarian (especially if you need quick answers in the evenings and on weekends)
  3. Request a copy of the article via Interlibrary Services

Find Journals

  • To see if we have a particular journal (i.e. Nature, ENR), either in print or electronic format, use the find a journal link.

  • You can also browse our ejournals by subject area.
