Archiving Your Research

A 2013 White House memorandum directed federally funded research to be made available to the public within one year of publication. Many departments have outlined policies and procedures for ensuring this public access. Additionally, UT Libraries offers a variety of data management support and resources. Our digital archive, Texas Scholar Works, is a great option for researchers hoping to make their work more visible to the public. We also have the Texas Data Repository. Check your author rights agreement or look up the journal's policy in Sherpa/Romeo to see if you are required to make your research public accessible.
