Find Conference Proceedings

How to Find Conference Proceedings

What are Conference Proceedings?

Conference proceedings are the official record of papers and research presented at professional events such as conferences, workshops, and symposia. They can be a great source for leading information in a particular field, but they can also be very difficult to find. Proceedings can be published as books, journal articles, abstracts, parts of a series, or sometimes not at all.

Where to Search

If you are interested in browsing the proceedings from a particular conference, check the organization's website for the latest information.

If there is something specific that you are looking for, try searching within scoUT, the library catalog, or in one of the databases listed below.

Search Tips

  • use keywords from the conference name, not just the title of the article or paper itself
  • leave off words like conference, meeting, proceedings, symposium etc.
  • include the year of the conference

If you have a citation but cannot find the item, contact Interlibrary Services for assistance locating a copy.
