Have you thought about conducting a systematic review, or simply want to learn some reproducible methods for conducting literature research? Librarians on campus are trained to provide support in evidence syntheses. Come join your librarian for coffee and donuts on Wednesday morning. This is an informal, drop-in chat between 9:30 and 10:30 am. Or just come say hi and grab a donut and coffee!

February 22, 2023 - Citation Management

This topic will be all about the tools you use for citation management. The library certainly has some tools we recommend, but we're always eager to learn more about what is currently working well for the students we support. if you feel like this is an area where you might need some pointers to really take full advantage of the available tools, please bring your questions! And of course, if you just want a coffee and donut break - that's fine too.

March 29, 2023 - Data Management & Sharing

Did you know that librarians at UT Austin can help you with drafting a data management plan? Whether you need to understand the requirements of a funding agency, find a suitable repository to deposit your data, or just want an extra set of eyes, librarians can help. The objective of this theme is to discover what trainees in biology are doing and how I can better support them. Come share informally about your research data management and any potential pain points. Or just come say hi and grab a donut and coffee!
