Access UT Libraries Journals, Databases and eBooks using Duo

Beginning June 15, 2020, access to many library resources and services will require multi-factor authentication using Duo, the system campus uses. This change is part of a campus-wide implementation of multi-factor authentication as directed by campus ITS.

Impacted services include:

• accessing electronic resources, including articles, ebooks and ejournals - depending on the path you take to access these through the Libraries web site, you may be prompted to use DUO on as well as off campus
• accessing your library account from on and off campus
• placing Interlibrary Loan requests and Get a Scan requests from off campus
• placing Pick it Up requests from on and off campus
• reserving a group study room in PCL from on and off campus
• adding printing funds from on and off campus
• requesting captioning services from on and off campus

Step 2: Enter your EID and password.

Step 3: Authenticate a second time using Duo.  When you set up Duo, you can specify how you want to receive notifications for authentication - via a push to your smartphone, a call to your smartphone or landline, or by entering a passcode.
