From Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM)
On Oct. 6, 2022, the Department of the Interior announced that the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has prepared a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for two Gulf of Mexico oil and gas lease sales: Lease Sales 259 and 261, which are being held pursuant to the Inflation Reduction Act.
