Reference tools, such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks, and bibliographies can give you important context and understanding on topics related to Judaism that show up in the course readings. For example, if you find a reference to Shabbat dinner in a novel, but don't know the significance, you can look it up in one of these library databases. Select encyclopedia ebooks are to the right as well.
