The UT Libraries continues to serve its users during this unprecedented period. We appreciate your patience as we navigate challenges presented by the current health crisis in real time.
All library locations are closed until further notice.
This guide provides up-to-date information about services and resources available to campus users beginning March 13, 2020. Because the situation is fluid, refer to the service alert on the UT Libraries homepage frequently to keep apprised of responsive changes to Libraries’ operational status.
The Fall semester begins on August 26, 2020. UT will be operating in a hybrid mode with some courses meeting in-person, others completely online, and some with a mix of both. For more details about UT's reopening plan and Fall 2020 instruction, see the Protect Texas Together web site.
For more information regarding university-wide research objectives, please refer to the Research Restart plan provided by the Office of the Vice President for Research at: https://research.utexas.edu/covid-19-research-faq/.
Libraries are currently providing limited access to library materials that are available only in print. See the "Reopening the Libraries" section of this guide for more information. We anticipate expanding service prior to the start of the Fall semester and will support all modes of instruction and research during the Fall semester, whether in-person or online.
