The Learning Labs @PCL are spaces that facilitate hands on active learning through collaborative technology. When you work with a librarian on an instruction session in PCL, we develop active learning activities that make use of the technology for group work and showcasing. Learning Labs may be requested by you for up to two meetings of a course per semester if you would like to use the technology to facilitate collaboration in your class, or if you need to work as a class with print collections. The labs are not set up for teleconferencing, but we would like to experiment with workarounds so that students can meet with partner institution students. We could also consider having partner institution students join us for a virtual instruction session with your librarian.
