The League of Women Voters produces a non partisan voter guide every election. Candidates respond to the same set of questions in their own words so that you can easily compare policies.

Newspapers often endorse candidates and this can be particularly helpful for researching state and local races like City Council, District Attorney, and Judges.
You can bring paper notes into the voting booth with you, including a printed sample ballot or voter guide. You are not allowed to use a cell phone while in the voting booth in Travis County.
