Building Access

PCL

PCL is open to provide the following services during posted hours.

  • Independent study on the entry level (2nd floor). Furniture has been arranged to ensure social distancing. You may attend your online class in Zoom using your own device or a Libraries workstation. Instructions are here.
  • Use of PCs, Assistive Technology, printing, scanning and microfilm readers. See Computers, Printing and Scanning for more information.
  • Pick up of requested materials from the PCL Desk.
  • Pick up of printed posters from the PCL Desk.

Entering and Using PCL:

  • All users must swipe in with their current UT ID card. Non UT-ID card holders may not enter the building.
  • To ensure social distancing, a limited number of people may be in PCL at any given time. You may check current occupancy here.

The following service changes and restrictions are in place to ensure health and safety:

Life Science Library

The Reading Rooms in the Life Science Library are open for independent study during posted hours. No services will be provided.

  • All Life Science Library collections will only be available via the Pick it Up service to be retrieved from the PCL Desk.
  • No computers, scanners or printers are available.
  • Furniture is arranged for social distancing.
  • A guard is posted at the door.
