Search Strategy

A typical advanced search

This is a typical search strategy. I am using each line to narrow my topic. I would edit each line independently to change my results. I use quotation marks around phrases and I capitalize OR. I usually do not fuss with other limiters in the search box, but rather choose to refine using menus offered on a results page.

use menus to refine. Peer reviewed is only for journals. selecting available online limits you to items we have electronic access to. be careful with dates and only limit as needed by your topic and goals.
