SOC 320T - Qualitative Methods of Social Research

Data Axle has businesses by neighborhood (an odd designation). They verify through phone calls at least once per year. Here are steps to get you started viewing  the businesses around UT:

1. Click "U.S. Businesses," then click "Advanced Search."
2. Under "Geography," check "Neighborhood."
3. Select a State: "Texas"
4. Select a Metro Area: "Austin, TX"
5. Filter Choices: search for and add "North University" and "University of Texas-Austin."
6. Then "View Results." Can drill down by clicking "Charts" at top, or re-doing search with more parameters.
