The main floor of the Perry-Castañeda Library (PCL) is open for study and book pick-up. Library stacks are closed for browsing, and other branch libraries remain closed. Please check the Libraries Service Continuity guide for more information, including service hours and occupancy limits.
You can request print books through our Pick It Up service using in the library catalog. You can pick up books at the PCL main desk. Books duplicated in the HathiTrust digital library will not be eligible for the Pick It Up service.

InterLibrary Services (ILS) is not lending print books. If you need a book that we do not have at the library, you can request an ebook purchase or request individual chapters through the ILS Get A Scan service.

Members of the public can read online up to three articles for free every two weeks from a large subset of JSTOR journals via the Register & Read program. This program allows remote access. Non-UT students, faculty and staff who need more articles can contact library staff for other access options.

Ebooks: Selected ebook titles from university presses and scholarly societies. All content from the print edition of the book is included in the digital edition.
