Codes of Ethics for Engineers

One responsibility of professional engineering organizations is to set ethical standards for their members.  The Code of Ethics from the National Society of Professional Engineers provides guidance for all types of engineers.  Also, expect to find an ethical statement from the professional society specific to your engineering work or interest.  Some examples are:
