Click “File,” “Share,” and select “Publish to the web” in the dropdown menu.

Then, exit by clicking on the X at the top right of the “Publish to the web” window. Publishing to the web will allow your project to reflect any changes you make in real time.

On your spreadsheet, select the Google Sheet URL address and copy it.

Go back to TimelineJS website and paste the Google Sheet URL address you copied into the “Google Spreadsheet URL” field.

Scroll down to “4: Share your Timeline.”

• Here, you can preview your project before publishing it.

You can share your timeline in two ways. 

• Copy the URL address under “Share Link.”
• If you want to embed your project into another website, copy the HTML code under “Embed.”

Note: You must have editorial permission for the website where you wish to embed the timeline.
