Floristic & Plant Resources at the Library

Home

Background

This guide was created in 2022 to highlight access to plant-related books and journals in the library collection. Please use this guide as a starting place to locate materials in our catalog and browse recent additions to the collection. These additions to the collection are provided through the generous funding provided by the Hocking Endowment. Some materials listed here are also acquired using STEM funding.

Historically, a portion of the Billie L. Turner Plant Resources Center (PRC) was housed within the Life Science Library. Now the PRC is housed on nine floors of the Main Building (UT Tower). This guide is also an effort to provide access and awareness of the two resources for public users and campus-based communities to identify complementary resources that may assist in research or the pursuit of information.
