The DataBank is an analysis and visualization tool that contains collections of time series data on a variety of topics. Below is a list of the World Banks most used resources.

 

 

  • Education Statistics - The World Bank EdStats Query holds around 2,500 internationally comparable education indicators for access, progression, completion, literacy, teachers, population, and expenditures. The indicators cover the education cycle from pre-primary to tertiary education.

 

  • Gender Statistics - Data on key gender topics. Themes included are demographics, education, health, labor force, and political participation.

 

 

The World Bank Data Catalog - Data Types include Time Series, Microdata & Geospatial files.

  • Open Data - The World Bank's Open Data initiative provides all users with open access to World Bank data.

 

  • Impact Evaluation Surveys -  this database provides access to data and metadata underlying impact evaluations conducted by the World Bank or other agencies.

 

  • Enterprise Surveys - these surveys cover a broad range of business environment topics, e.g. access to finance, gender, infrastructure, and performance measures.

 

  • Sustainable Development Goals - this resource contains relevant indicators drawn from the World Development Indicators.
