We're here to get you started doing college-level research. Our learning goals are for today's session are that you will be able to:
- create an effective search strategy to find the type of information you need.
- describe the difference primary and secondary sources
- find and use the tools you need to search for and cite articles
- find help from experts in research, writing and public speaking
Here are a few things you should know:
- I am here to help you learn about college-level research. I understand learning doesn't work the same way for everyone, and that an hour isn't long enough to do more than get started. I want you to feel comfortable reaching out for help during and after the session, and confident about using this guide throughout the semester.
