Athletic Tutors Guide

Introduction

What is this Guide for?

Your UT library system is here to help you! We have over 500,000 books in PCL alone (plus thousands of others in our branch libraries!) as well as online access to 813 databases and an exhaustive interlibrary loan program. Whatever you need for your research, we will get! That having been said, sometimes it can be hard to navigate all the wonderful resources that are at your disposal. With that in mind, this guide is designed to give you an introduction to some of our most relevant resources.

Here you will find information on the following:

  • Finding articles using library databases
  • Finding books in the library catalog
  • Citing your sources appropriately
  • Evaluating online resources for credibility
  • PCL and the other library branches

Most importantly: this is where you go if you have a question but don't know who to ask! You can always reach out to me (Annah, see more info to the right of this box) with questions, or you can check in with one of our liaison librarians (see the tab on the left). Or if you need help right away, you can reach out to our Ask a Librarian Chat Service!
