Welcome to the Computer Science (CS) Lib guide! This is a place to find databases, books, and other resources that will help you in your CS courses and research.

Campus Resources

UT Austin's Computer Science Department 

  • Website for prospective and current computer science students. 

UT Libraries - Computer Labs and Workspaces 

  • With your EID, you can log into the computers at one of these locations and use them. 
  • You can search by location, equipment, or software. 

Scholars Lab @ PCL 

  • Excellent spaces for collaboration and individual study + access to computers with access to software like: Stata MP, NVivo, and OpenRefine. 

Forum for Artificial Intelligence 

  • A group that meets regulating to discuss AI and it's intersection with other topics/issues. Additionally they have a speaker series with talks covering a wide range of topics related to AI. 

 

Off-Campus Access

When you are outside the UT campus network, your browser must have a UT IP address to access the library's licensed resources.  You get this via our Proxy Server.

  • Follow a link in the Library Catalog or any library guide or web page, or
  • Paste http://ezproxy.lib.utexas.edu/login?url= in front of your target URL.
  • Authenticate with your EID and Duo when prompted.
  • VPN does NOT work with proxy.
