Information Literacy Toolkit

This guide, created through a partnership of several campus experts, includes guidance for instructors thinking about a digital project that uses archives and special collections.

Open to everyone, our makerspace provides staff expertise and access to devices and tools such as a laser cutter, 3D printers, sewing machines, mills, and other equipment. The Foundry also features stations with software to create video games, a video wall and a recording studio.

This rubric contains information that will assist faculty in selecting a digital tool for course-based assignments. This rubric is not comprehensive, but does offer a representative sample of the most frequently used digital tools in the classroom at UT.
