Paleontology

Welcome

Paleontology literature can take many forms: peer-reviewed journals, monographs, reports, field guides, museum publications, government documents, maps, and more. There is more "gray" literature than some other disciplines, and it can more difficult to track down and obtain. In addition, primary resources such as academic theses and dissertations are more important to than they are in other fields. This guide is intended to help demystify your search and point you in the right direction.

If you need assistance with searching, tracking down a specific source, or have other questions, don't hesitate to reach out to your librarians!
