Russian Literature

An overview of online and print resources related to Russian literature from UT and beyond.

The University of Texas Libraries' collection of Russian Literature materials supports the academic programs on campus that are offered by the Department of Slavic and Eurasian Studies and the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies (CREEES). It comprises the primary strength of the Slavic and East European collections in the University of Texas libraries.

Altogether the collection of Slavic and Eurasian studies materials comprises approximately 153,000 volumes of books and journals, 500 titles on microfilm, nearly 300 current serials subscriptions and many more older holdings, as well as important online resources and CD-ROMs. It is housed primarily in the Perry Castañeda Library, but important materials are also found in the Fine Arts Library and the Architecture and Planning Library. A substantial body of specialized scientific materials in Russian can be found in the Walter Geology Library and the Marine Science Library.
