UGS 302 - Science Fiction and Politics - Chapman

In Class

To do on your own:

Open Source 1; read a little bit of it (the abstract section is a good place to start); scroll through the rest, notice characteristics (length could be one) that might help you determine what type of article you're looking at. Use Google to learn more about the author or publication if appropriate. Ask yourself:

  • What kind of article is this?
  • What clues helped you decide this?
  • What evidence did the author bring into this article?
  • We'll discuss as a class.
