Scans, Copies, Purchases, & Subscriptions

When you can't find a resource through the Libraries, staff will try to find a copy for your use.

Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary loan is free to those currently affiliated with the university. Books, articles, chapters, and more may be requested. Interlibrary loan is for items not owned by the Libraries.
Get a Scan
Get a Scan is a free service for those currently affiliated with the university. Users may request scans of single book chapters and of articles --- these may be owned by the Libraries or not. There are limits: One chapter/article per request, and up to 3 chapters from a single book with individual requests. No scans of full books.
Suggest a Purchase
Ask for an item to be added to the library collection. "E" materials can usually be added quickly. Print takes longer. Also: We are glad to have suggestions for new subscriptions but can't start those right away.
