There are a number of avenues for sharing your digital scholarship research. Special exhibition platforms like Scalar and Omeka can be used to create an online portal for your research outcomes, and Texas Scholars Works and Texas Data Repository provide an institutional record and point of access for your work.
For information on how to publish your work online with exhibition platforms, visit the “Digital Exhibition Platforms” page of this guide.
Texas ScholarWorks is a digital repository for the publications of UT scholars, providing open access to content and promoting new forms of scholarly communication. Publishing to TSW will ensure your work is preserved and freely accessible to future generations of researchers in and beyond Texas.
Texas Data Repository, or TDL, is a data management system for the member institutions of Texas Digital Libraries. Here you can add, share and publish your datasets, as well as search for datasets you could reuse in your own research. Visit their webpage to explore the Repository and upload your own data.
When using digital scholarship tools, give special consideration to the copyright of the materials you are working with. If you are not working with original data, or if you are sharing images and text that may be under copyright, you should consult with your copyright librarian for advice on how best to proceed.
Visit our Copyright Crash Course library guide, and contact us if you have questions about the copyright status of any data or materials you are working with.
