Citation managers are invaluable tools for large research projects. They can help you collect bibliographic information on the sources you read; organize the PDFs and other documents that go along with the citations; and format in-text citations, footnotes, and bibliographies as you write.
There are various citation managers to choose from. If you do not already use a citation manager, I recommend getting set up with Zotero.
