Persistent Identifiers

UT Libraries (UTL) is a Perma.cc registrar and that allows our users to create an unlimited number of Perma.cc links.

If you are interested in using Perma.cc, please contact Colleen Lyon, c.lyon@austin.utexas.edu, and she can set you up with access to the UT Austin Perma.cc account.

Step 1 - Login in to your account (if you don't already have an account, contact Colleen Lyon, c.lyon@austin.utexas.edu)

Step 2 - Enter the URL of the page you want to preserve

Step 3 - Select the appropriate organization or folder for your link

Step 4 - Click "Create Perma Link"
