Goals from your Mini Assignment 2:

  • Know at least two scholarly databases you can use for your research
  • Learn about our very own class research page on the library system
  • Understand what a “peer-reviewed” academic article is and how it differs from other kinds of sources.
  • Be able to name at least three Geography-specific academic journals
  • Have located at least one peer-reviewed article for your own research

To do on your own: Open the link and look at the information about the article you see there, read the abstract, open the PDF of the full article to notice some of the structure and characteristics of the article. Think about what type of article this is and what you could learn from it.
