Professional advice on writing is provided in one-on-one sessions called consultations. Undergraduates can be helped with their writing at any stage, including: finding a topic for a paper, organizing ideas and clarifying thoughts, and drafting and revising papers. Although they do not edit or proofread students' papers, they do teach students effective and efficient strategies for editing and proofreading their own work. Help is provided with class assignments and also with resumes, employment and graduate school applications and creative and public writing.
