There are many conferences, workshops, and presentations related to OER and other open education topics each year. Many are even free to attend, though some do have registration fees. Selected upcoming events are listed below with links to register.
- Open Education Week March 4th-8th, 2024: Join us as we celebrate and amplify the open education practices happening within the UT community. Events, both in person and virtual, will be aimed at educating faculty and staff about OER, open pedagogy, and open education initiatives.
- OER Faculty Panel March 8th, 1:00-2:00pm (CST): Both faculty and student members discuss the benefits, challenges, and rewards of incorporating OER into their teaching practices. This event is free and virtual. Register here.
- OER Tabling Event, March 5th, 12:00 - 2:00pm (CST): Stop by the PCL lobby to learn about OER initiatives happening at UT. Ask questions, complete our poll, or just come see what OER is all about.
