Other thoughts on finding funding

Places to check

Find a professor here at UT that is in the field you are investigating and take a look at their homepage. Do they list their funding anywhere? Do you see grants that they were awarded?

Have you found an article written in the discipline you are investigating? Sometimes the author will list the funding sources that made the research, travel or publication of the article possible. Look for a footnote on the first page, or somewhere near the end of the article for acknowledgements.

Example:

This work was supported by the Trust [grant numbers xxxx, yyyy]; the Natural Environment Research Council [grant number zzzz]; and the Economic and Social Research Council [grant number aaaa].
