Foundry @ FAL Information

The Foundry

The Foundry is a makerspace located at the Fine Arts Library in the Doty building. It is a joint initiative of the UT Libraries and the College of Fine Arts. The Foundry is open to all university students, faculty, and staff.

Certification

 

The Foundry has different equipment available for UT students, staff, and faculty to use. These include 3D printers, vinyl printing, negative printing, a fiber arts lab, and the recording studio. To use the equipment, please enroll in the appropriate course on The Foundry Canvas and complete the training. You can make appointments to use the different equipment through the Canvas link as well.
