Finding Information

Some textbooks currently requested by instructors may be on Course Materials reserve in the Engineering Library.  Otherwise most printed textbooks related to chemical engineering are located in the Chemistry Collection, currently housed in the Collections Deposit Library, a closed-stack facility.  You can place a Pick It Up request in the Library Catalog to get an available book delivered to a library service desk for checkout.

Publishers generally don't allow libraries to purchase electronic versions of their textbooks.

Access to the Libraries' licensed resources while off campus requires authentication via valid UT EID and password.  In order to see the authentication step, you have to start with links on the Libraries' guides (like this one), catalog, and other official web pages.  Note that UT VPN does not work for this purpose.
