English language works have historically dominated the science fiction literary market both domestically and abroad. In the last decade, scholars have worked to shift focus away from the Anglophone axis and open up a space for foreign authors and works within the field. This increased scholarly interest in regional and original foreign language content has resulted in an influx of book-length anthologies and works of scholarly criticism, some of which can be found below. This guide also includes creative works of science fiction in translation, and works in a wide variety of original languages.
See below for a selection of foreign-language originals. Click on the title link to view the UT catalog record for the book/ ebook.
