Endnote offers three versions of the online product.
1. EndNote online for desktop users - this is available to those who have purchased the EndNote desktop software. See EndNote section of this guide. It is for working when you are away from your desktop and helps with sharing.
2. EndNote Online with WoS (Web of Science) - Set up an EndNote Online account through the Web of Science database, on or off campus.
Once you have created an EndNote Online account, you can login anytime to your account through either the Web of Science database or by going directly to EndNote Online.
(To establish yourself as a UT-Austin person, you may also intitially register on campus without going to Web of Science and may use your UT-Austin Web of Science account.)
3. EndNote Basic - This account is for users who do not have the desktop version of EndNote or who are not affiliated with an institution that has a subscription to the Web of Science. Register here.
