How a waste container should look

• Waste Tag (newest version)
• Secondary Containment (if on floor)
• Screw cap on (sealed) when not in use
• Container in good condition (UT EHS provides these)

Waste container should NOT look like ... 

• No container should be marked with the words, 'hazardous'
• Remove old labels
• Must be safe for transport - NOT leaking
• Do not use biological waste containers or sharps in haz chem
