The John S. and Drucie R. Chase Building was built in 1952 and housed what was then the Colored Teachers State Association of Texas. The John S. and Drucie R. Chase Building Archive includes oral histories and print material that recognizes its transformation and restoration into the building that now houses the University of Texas at Austin’s Center for Community Engagement.

Los del Valle Oral History Project Archive
The Los del Valle Oral History Project was launched in 1992 by University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley History Professor Dr. Manuel F. Medrano with the goal of collecting and preserving historical memories in Texas' Rio Grande Valley, a region that has been historically underdocumented in archival and published research. Interviewees include folklorist and scholar Dr. Américo Paredes, Tejano writers Rolando Hinojosa-Smith and Oscar Cásares, writer and poet Carmen Tafolla, and artist Carmen Lomas Garza as well as nationally acclaimed anthropologists, writers, ethnobotanists, musicians and others.

The Women's Caucus for Gender Justice's (WCGJ) documentary footage for If Hope WereEnough contains the documentary production in English, Spanish, and French as well as raw footage of panels for the Preparatory Commission of the International Criminal Court (ICC Prepcom); a WCGJ retreat; interviews conducted for the documentary; and b-roll footage from Chiapas, Mexico.

Independent and Revolutionary Mexican Newspapers (Eastview)
The Independent and Revolutionary Mexican Newspapers collection traces the evolution of Mexico during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Comprising nearly 1,000 titles from Mexico’s pre-independence, independence and revolutionary periods (1807-1929), the newspapers in this collection provide rare documentation of the dramatic events of this era and include coverage of Mexican partisan politics, yellow press, political and social satire, as well as local, regional, national and international news.

Libros de Hijuelas de Michoacán de Ocampo (British Library)
The Libros de Hijuelas (“deed books”) consist of 194 leather-bound volumes that pertain to, or are precursors of, a centrally important historical process in Latin America: the privatization of indigenous corporate property under liberal administrations, in this case in 19th-century Michoacán, Mexico.
Violetas del Anáhuac
"Violetas del Anáhuac", initially named "Las Hijas del Anáhuac", was a weekly magazine directed and published by women in Mexico City from 1887-1889. It showcases women’s writing and thinking and features articles about prominent women, short stories, scientific articles, and anecdotes.

Carlos E. Castañeda Papers
Carlos Eduardo Castañeda (1896-1958) was associated with The University of Texas from 1920-1958 as a student, as head of the library's Latin American Collection, and as a history professor. He also served as superintendent of schools in San Felipe ISD in Del Rio, Texas, and with the U.S. Fair Employment Practices Commission. Digitized photographs from the collection.

George I. Sánchez Papers
Selections from the personal and professional papers of Mexican American educator, writer, and civil rights activist George I. Sánchez. The collection includes digitized photographs of Texas and New Mexico school districts from the 19302 and 1940s, and migrant labor camps in Texas.
Herschel Manuel Photographs
Digitized photographs of Mexican American school children, their segregated schools, and contrasting images of schools for white children. Photographs have minimal identification, but seem to be images of Texas schools and children in the late 1920's. The photographs were found among papers at the Office of Bilingual Education, University of Texas at Austin.

The LANIC Etext Collection is designed to facilitate access to full-text resources, including research papers written by Latin American studies scholars; theses and dissertations; etext versions of books; conference proceedings; speeches by Latin American leaders; periodical publications; and official documents.

Onda Latina: The Mexican American Experience
The collection consists of 226 digitally preserved audio programs including interviews, music, and informational programs related to the Mexican American community and their concerns from the radio series "The Mexican American Experience" and "A esta hora conversamos" from the Longhorn Radio Network, 1976-1982.

Archive of Political Parties and Elections in Latin America, APPELA
The Archive of Political Parties and Elections in Latin America (APPELA) seeks to preserve and facilitate access to Web sites, documents, and other materials from a wide range of Latin American political parties. The Archive contains copies of the Web sites of over 100 political parties captured on multiple dates in 2005.
Archive of Venezuelan Political Discourse, ARVEPODIS
The Archive of Venezuelan Political Discourse (ARVEPODIS) contains copies of over 100 Web sites associated with the Venezuelan political process. The Archive includes both pro-Chavez and anti-Chavez sites, including blogs, media sites, official government sites, and non-partisan and civil society groups, among others. Many of these sites were archived on a daily basis during a three month period in late 2005.
Latin American Government Documents Archive, LAGDA
The Latin American Government Documents Archive (LAGDA) seeks to preserve and facilitate access to a wide range of ministerial and presidential documents from 18 Latin American and Caribbean countries. The Archive contains copies of the Web sites of approximately 300 government ministries and presidencies, captured beginning in 2005.
