Engineering Library closed for summer

Please note that the Engineering Library will be closed for the summer:

  • starting on Saturday, May 6 (2023)
  • re-opening on Tuesday, August 1 (2023)

Reference assistance will be available as usual, except for on-site.  Materials from the collection may be requested through the "Pick it up" service.

This guide points to information about patents, trademarks, and copyright, including how to seek legal protection for these types of intellectual property.

Because the McKinney Engineering Library is part of the Patent and Trademark Resource Center Program (PTRCP), library staff receive training from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and promise to share the information with others.  Please contact us or staff at another Resource Center Library when you have questions.  We can't provide legal help but will try to point you to available resources.

I'm glad to meet by Zoom or in person (my desk is in EER 1.706). But before you make a special trip, please check to make sure I'm available. Note that the Engineering Library will be closed for the summer, starting May 6 and re-opening on August 1.
