National Institutes of Health (NIH)
As of January 25, 2023 all researchers who receive NIH funding to support their work must adhere to the new NIH Data Management & Sharing Policy. Please visit https://guides.lib.utexas.edu/nih/dmsp for a detailed description of this new policy and an overview of the resources available to UT researchers to help them comply the data management requires of the new policy. You can also directly visit the NIH Sharing site at https://sharing.nih.gov/ for in depth information about all NIH data sharing requirements and resources.
National Science Foundation
Dissemination and Sharing of Research Results - NSF Data Management Plan Requirements gives basic information for the NSF, and links to general requirements and to some unit-specific requirements.  Remember to double-check for program-specific guidelines.
