Access options explained

This page details the various access options available through the Library Search results page when using the "Everything" and "Articles & More" search options.

access point labels explained

  • Read Article will take you directly to the HTML version of the article
  • Available Online will take you to the full catalog record and all access options for that article
  • Download PDF will automatically open or download the PDF of the article

  • RETRACTED ARTICLE - LEARN MORE will take you to a new page that gives more information on the retraction, see the example below for more informaton

  • Find another article opens a new page that allow you to search by DOI (digital object identifier) or PMID (PubMed ID) for another article. You cannot search by keywords, etc. 
  • The Retraction Details section gives more information on the retraction itself
  • The Full Text Format Options gives direct links to the PDF and/or HTML versions of the retracted article
  • View Article in Context lets you see the article in the context of the complete journal issue 
  • See all content options for this article (not shown in image) takes you to the full catalog record and shows all access options for the article
