Your Library Account

Alert: DUO required staring June 15

Starting June 15, 2020, DUO multifactor authentication will be required to log into your personal library account with your UT EID, both ON and OFF campus.  This is in compliance with a campus IT directive that most secure systems move to this level of security in 2020.

Why Log in?

You don't have to log in to do basic searching.  But you must sign in to your library account with your UT EID and password in order to:

Your Reading History

Unlike our old system, the new Library Search interface doesn't have a feature that automatically saves a list of all the items you've checked out from the library in the past.  However, you can create one manually using the My Favorites function:

  1. Log in to your account with your UT EID and password.
  2. Search for the book(s) you checked out.
  3. Use the pin icon in the book record to mark the book.
  4. Navigate to "My Favorites" by clicking on the pin icon at the top right.
  5. Click "Add Labels" to create a "Borrowing History" label if desired.
  6. View your list later by clicking the pin button when logged in.

Note that any lists you had created in the old system are no longer accessible.
