This is a selection of narrative reference books about the chemical elements.  For more data see also the guide to Periodic Tables under the "Where to find..." tab.

Printed Material

Textbooks provide concise explanations of concepts with the student in mind. General and introductory chemistry textbooks can be found in the Chemistry book stacks in the QD 31 - QD 33 call number area. Texts currently being used for courses are available for short-term checkout at the Reserves Desk.

NOTE:  While the Mallet Library is closed for construction, chemistry textbook reserves are currently located in the Geology Library, JGB 4.202. The general book collection is located on the 6th floor of PCL, in sections 6AA-6BB.
